Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman
Opening statement...
"We obviously have a long ways to go as a basketball team. Our turnovers were really bad and we missed too many free throws. We didn't pay attention to the rules we set for ourselves as a team, we still have a long ways to go. We did still find a way to win and I think that's a huge credit to our returners down the stretch. It wasn't the type of performance I was looking for tonight."
On what changed in the second half...
"In the second half we started to drive the ball at them and they struggled with that, but we didn't get to the line as much as I wanted to."
On who played well...
"Bruce's (Barron) energy and passion for the game really gave a spark. Johnny (Johnathan Loyd) had the longest amount of energy throughout the whole game. Bruce and Johnny were constantly looking up for open receivers, their passion and energy really helped us tonight."
On the team struggling...
"It's not a question of the team's talent; it's just making plays for the team. We need to make the simple plays and not force the tough plays; we need to be more patient."

Johnathan Loyd - So., G
On improving in the second half...
"Our chemistry will come. We are just trying to keep it together."
On Oregon's free throws...
"We are shooting free throws every day in practice. Sometimes it's not going in right now, but it'll fall."
On Loyd's assist to Sim and making simple plays...
"We need to be taking care of the ball. Our team is hard headed, but we are learning and it worked, coach was right"
On chemistry of team...
"Some guys don't know the system yet and Coach (Altman) went with the players that did. We bought into it."
On setting team up in the 2011-2012 season...
"Over time everybody will buy in. That's when we'll be at our best."
Garrett Sim - Sr., G
On improving in the second half...
"We had a lot more set plays. We settled down in the second (half)."
On free throws...
"We need focus at the line, we can't miss that many. That will come."
On Loyd's assist to Sim and making simple plays...
"We needed a bucket and it was a sure lay in."
On chemistry of team...
"There are a lot of new guys who are anxious to make plays."
On setting team up in the 2011-2012 season...
"We come every day, buy in to the system and keep learning offense and sets. It really paid off (tonight), and we settled down in the second half."
