
NFL #ProDucks: Week 3

Week 3 was dominated by a pair of #ProDucks running backs, as LeGarrette Blount continued his tremendous start to the season en route to winning AFC Offensive Player of the Month, and Kenjon Barner seized his opportunity and scored his first career NFL touchdown. DeForest Buckner continued to play beyond his years in just his third career NFL game, while Marcus Mariota and the Titans search for answers heading into Week 4.
Carolina Panthers
- TE Ed Dickson played in the Panthers' 22-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and made his first catch of the season, a 23-yard grab late in the fourth quarter.
- RB Jonathan Stewart was inactive against the Vikings after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2. Stewart has not practiced yet this week, making it increasingly unlikely that he suits up for the Panthers' Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.
- C Hroniss Grasu is on the Reserved/Injured list with a torn ACL and will not play this season.
- OL Kyle Long made his third straight start at right guard as the Bears fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 31-17, to drop to 0-3 early in the season. The Bears take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.
- OL Jake Fisher played off the bench for the third straight week, slotting in as a sixth lineman in multiple sets in the Bengals' 29-17 loss to the Denver Broncos. The Bengals will take on the Miami Dolphins tonight at 5:25 p.m. PT on Thursday Night Football.
- S T.J. Ward made two solo tackles and broke up a pass to help the Broncos improve to 3-0 with a 29-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
- OL Darrion Weems did not start against the Bengals but once again rotated in at both right guard and right tackle throughout the game. The Broncos head to Tampa Bay this weekend to take on the Buccaneers on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. PT.
- DT Haloti Ngata recorded one sack in the Lions' 34-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers. It was Ngata's first full sack of the season. The 1-2 Lions head to Chicago to take on the Bears on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.
- S Eddie Pleasant was inactive for the second week in a row as the Texans lost to the New England Patriots, 27-0. Pleasant and the Texans welcome the Tennessee Titans this Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.
- OLB Tony Washington Jr. is currently on the Texans' Reserved/Injured list.
- CB Terrance Mitchell is currently on the Chiefs' practice squad and did not play in their 24-3 win over the New York Jets.
- WR De'Anthony Thomas was inactive for the third straight week and has not played yet this regular season. The Chiefs take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 5:25 p.m. PT on Sunday Night Football.
- CB Troy Hill had another very active game in the Rams' 37-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leading the team with 11 tackles, all solo. Through the first three weeks, all 14 of Hill's tackles have been solo takedowns. The Rams head to Arizona for a NFC West showdown with the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at 1:25 p.m. PT.
- LB Kiko Alonso made eight tackles, six solo, in the Dolphins' 30-24 win against the Cleveland Browns. Through the first three weeks of the regular season, Alonso is tied for seventh in the NFL with 30 total tackles.
- CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu is on the Reserved/Injured list after suffering an ACL injury in training camp and will not play this season.
- LB Spencer Paysinger was inactive against the Browns.
- DE Dion Jordan remains on the Active/Non Football Injury list as he works his way back from a knee injury.
- RB LeGarrette Blount continued his stellar start to the season, rushing 24 times for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Patriots' 27-0 win over the Houston Texans, including a 41-yard score in the fourth quarter. Three weeks in, Blount is the NFL's leading rusher with 298 yards and 99.3 yards per game, earning himself AFC Offensive Player of the Month honors for September. Blount is also tied for the league-lead with four rushing touchdowns, and has been the most worked back in the league with 75 carries. The running back has at least one touchdown in all three games this year and has rushed for 100 yards or more in back-to-back games. Blount should continue to carry a heavy workload on Sunday when the 3-0 Patriots host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.

- S Patrick Chung made four tackles, three solo, against the Texans.
- S Jairus Byrd made six tackles, four solo, in the Saints' 45-32 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints' defense was torched for 442 yards of total offense against the Falcons, and has given up the second-most yards per game (448.3) in the NFL this season.
- C Max Unger started at center for the third straight week against the Falcons. While the Saints' defense ranks near the bottom of the league, their offense leads the league in passing at 341.7 yards per game after gaining 359 yards through the air against Atlanta.
- RB Kenjon Barner found the end zone for the first time in his career in the Eagles' 34-3 route of the Pittsburgh Steelers, running for 42 yards on eight carries with an eight-yard touchdown late in the third quarter. Barner averaged 5.3 yards per carry against the Steelers, and has run for 86 yards on 14 carries (6.1 yards per carry) with six first downs so far this season. Barner and the Eagles have a bye week in Week 4.

- WR Josh Huff played and returned one kickoff for 23 yards against the Steelers.
- RB Byron Marshall is currently on the Eagles' practice squad.
- LB Joe Walker is on the Reserved/Injured list after suffering an ACL injury and will not play this season.
- QB Kellen Clemens did not see the field in the Chargers' 26-22 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The 1-2 Chargers host the New Orleans Saints at 1:25 p.m. PT on Sunday.
- OT Tyler Johnstone is on San Diego's Reserved/Injured list with an undisclosed injury.
- DL Arik Armstead assisted on two tackles in the 49ers' 37-18 loss at the Seattle Seahawks. The 1-2 49ers host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at 1:25 p.m. PT.
- OL Alex Balducci is currently on the 49ers' practice squad.
- DL DeForest Buckner made eight tackles, one solo, against the Seahawks while once again staying on the field for the majority of the 49ers' defensive snaps (81 percent). Buckner has 16 total tackles through his first three career NFL games, and is the highest-graded rookie defensive lineman by Pro Football Focus thus far this season.

- DT Taylor Hart was inactive for the third straight week.
- TE Brandon Williams played but did not record any statistics in the Seahawks' 37-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers. The 2-1 Seahawks head to New York to take on the Jets at 10 a.m. PT on Sunday.
- QB Marcus Mariota and the Titans struggled to put points on the board in a 17-10 loss to the Oakland Raiders. Mariota completed 17-of-33 passes for 214 yards, but was intercepted twice. Mariota also ran for 22 yards on three carries. Mariota and the Titans will look to limit the mistakes on the offensive end when they take on the Houston Texans on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.

BC Lions
- RB Jeremiah Johnson is currently in his third CFL season and first as a Lion. Johnson ran for 448 yards and nine touchdowns last season with Ottawa, and has totaled 509 yards on 84 carries with six touchdowns in seven games this season. Johnson ran for 41 yards on eight carries in the Lions' most recent game against Edmonton, and had a monster performance on Sept. 9 against Montreal, running for 159 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries, averaging 9.9 yards per rush.
- LB Bo Lokombo is in his third CFL season with the Lions and has made 14 total tackles in 12 games this season.
- QB Jeremiah Masoli is enjoying a strong year in his fourth season with Hamilton. Masoli has completed 162-of-231 passes this season for a completion percentage of 70.1 while tossing nine touchdowns. Masoli has been utilized in special situations since the return of starting quarterback Zach Collaros on August 28, rushing for touchdowns in each of the Ticats' past three games, including a 21-yard score in Hamilton's most recent game against Saskatchewan. On the season, Masoli has run for 124 yards and four scores on 31 carries.

- QB Vernon Adams Jr. is in his first season with the Alouettes after leading college football in passer efficiency with the Ducks in 2015. Adams Jr. has played in eight games this season, throwing for 35 yards on four completions and adding 29 rushing yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Adams' first career touchdown came on August 26 against Winnipeg.
- DB John Boyett is in his second season with the Redblacks and has made 38 total tackles with an interception in 11 games this season. Boyett picked up his first interception of the year on September 1 against Montreal.
