Women's Hoops Announces 4K Challenge

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon athletics department has announced the 4K Challenge, a new marketing initiative for the women's basketball program.
The No. 6 ranked Ducks have four home games left for the 2017-18 season and the goal of the 4K Challenge is to use those final four games to boost the Ducks' average home attendance for the season to 4,000 fans.
"We face some of the top teams in the conference down the stretch and we need everyone's support," said head coach Kelly Graves. "We have a chance to make Matthew Knight Arena one of the most intimidating environments in college basketball."
No. 6 Oregon hosts No. 25 California and No. 24 Stanford this weekend. The final two home games of the season are against USC on Feb. 16 and No. 9 UCLA on Feb. 19.
The Ducks currently have a one-game lead over the Cardinal and Bruins in the Pac-12 standings. Oregon is chasing its first conference title since the 1999-2000 season.
In addition to seeing some of the best teams in the nation, fans will have a chance to win a 50-inch 4K television at each of the last four home games.
Fans can register to win by visiting www.4Kchallenge.com or by signing up at the 4K table on the concourse near the North entrance. The web site will also track the number of tickets sold for each game and how close the 4K goal is to being achieved.
