Oregon To Play In Holiday Bowl

SAN DIEGO — Oregon has accepted an invitation to play in the 2022 SDCCU Holiday Bowl on Wednesday, December 28, at Petco Park. The Ducks will take on North Carolina (9-4, 6-2 ACC) at 5 p.m. PT (FOX).
The Ducks finished the regular season at 9-3 overall and 7-2 in conference play, and came in at No. 15 in the final College Football Playoff rankings released on Sunday.
Oregon will make its fourth appearance in the Holiday Bowl, and first since a 42-31 win over Oklahoma State in 2008. The Ducks also beat Texas in the 2000 Holiday Bowl, and lost to Oklahoma in 2005.
This will be the first-ever meeting between Oregon and North Carolina.
