Oregon’s weekend opponents for its 2023-24 Pac-12 Conference schedule have been set.
EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon's weekend opponents for its 2023-24 Pac-12 Conference schedule have been set, following the release of the matchup and site designations by the conference office on Monday.
Â
The announcement only reflects the opponents the Ducks will play on a given week during the conference season, in addition to the location of the games. Specific dates and times for each game, and the order in which games will be played over each weekend, will be announced at a later date.
Â
Oregon will open Pac-12 play on Dec. 31 at Oregon State before heading on the road to take on the Los Angeles schools, Jan. 5-7. The Ducks' Pac-12 home opener is the weekend of Jan. 12-14, as Arizona and Arizona State visit Matthew Knight Arena.
Â
After a road weekend in the Bay Area, Jan. 19-21, the Ducks will then go through a stretch in which they play five of their next seven games at Matthew Knight Arena, including The Rivalry rematch with Oregon State on Feb. 4. Over a seven-game stretch from Jan. 26 to Feb. 18, UO will play six games against teams that qualified for last year's NCAA Tournament, including home and road weekends with Colorado and Utah.
Â
Following its trip to play at Washington and Washington State (Feb. 23-25), Oregon will host California and Stanford the weekend of Feb. 29 to close the regular season before the 2024 Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament begins March 6 in Las Vegas.
Â
The Ducks return four letterwinners from last year's team that went 20-15 and reached the Great 8 of the WNIT, including starters Chance Gray, Phillipina Kyei and Grace VanSlooten. Oregon also welcomes the nation's 18th-ranked recruiting class, featuring three four-star recruits ranked in espnW's top 100 (Sofia Bell, Sammie Wagner, Sarah Rambus).
