EUGENE ? The University of Oregon’s tennis teams received post-season accolades as junior women’s player Dominika Dieskova and men’s senior Markus Schiller were both honored as Pacific-10 All-Conference second team selections.
Dieskova, from Bratislava, Slovakia, finished the season with a 30-11 mark in singles play and ranked No. 41 in the nation. She also finished the season ranked No. 29 in doubles play with her partner Ceci Olivos. The pair will be in action at the NCAA individual championships, later this month. Dieskova will compete in the singles draw of the championships as well.
Schiller wrapped up his season and his Duck career at the Ojai Tournament, last month. During the season Schiller notched 14 victories and only eight losses. He also finished with a winning doubles record as he was 12-9 on the year. Schiller wrapped up the season sporting a national ranking of No. 101.
