Duck Feed: Duckcast, Unis, Replay Technology

Spring Game Duckcast, Unis, Replay Technology
Friday, April 30, 3:30 p.m. PDT
First off, from Oregon AMS chapter president Bobby Corser, here is the official Duckcast for Saturday’s annual Spring Game at Autzen Stadium:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, it's been only 120 days since the Oregon Ducks last took to the field for the Rose Bowl. That's 120 days of looking outside, seeing the weather and wishing it was fall. The midseason break known as spring football has come and now it's almost gone. The Oregon Ducks will take the field at Autzen for the annual Spring Game, breaking that long string of days without hearing Mighty Oregon or the fog horn, or the marching band perform. We know it never rains at Autzen, but what about the weather for the game? Well, the weather for the game is looking like roses! We will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the lower 60s at kick off. There will be a light wind on and off during the day. If you are headed to Autzen, take a sweatshirt and enjoy the game. Cheer on the Ducks and take a gander at the new look Oregon team for 2010. We'll only have to sit through another 126 days until we get the party started in September!"
THAT’S THE FACT JACK
Oregon will be wearing custom designed jerseys on Saturday as part of the “Support our Troops and Families” theme for the Spring Game and will be handing them over to military personnel during a special postgame ceremony.

A look at the front of the Green jersey. Both jerseys feature an American flag on one sleeve and the uniform number on the other.

The back of the Green jersey. Every jersey will have SUPPORT OUR TROOPS instead of player names on the back.
The Oregon Green will wear black helmets and the Oregon White will wear green helmets.
HIGH TECH HD REPLAY DEBUTS AT AUTZEN
The Pac-10 Conference has partnered with DVSport, Inc., to provide high definition (HD) replay technology for its football games starting this fall.
Fans will have the opportunity to see this replay technology in action tomorrow during the ESPN2 broadcast of the Spring Game. ESPN football color analyst Ed Cunningham will spend one quarter in the replay booth as an instant replay official.
The Spring Game will mark the debut of the technology by a Pac-10 institution.
