The freshman walk-on was team's top newcomer in fall of 2003. Could compete in either 1,500, 3,000, and 5,000 in track.
Fall 2003:
Team’s top freshman newcomer. Ran unattached in Pier Park Preview (16th, 20:07) and would have ranked as team’s sixth runner. Scored in next appearances in UO’s fifth and fourth slots in Sundodger Invite (55th, 19:11) and Willamette Invite (71st, 18:50). Ended year with efforts in Pac-10 (78th, 27:29) and West Regional Champs (191st, 24:48).Prep: Finished third in state D4 cross country meet, and Western Regionals champ as a sophomore. Took sixth in 1,600 at MOC championship. A four-year letterwinner in cross country and track, she wrestled three years and played midfielder one year. High School (Coach): Healdsburg '03 (Rob Lee/Hector Delgado).
Personal: Major: Journalism. Enjoys writing and dancing. Career-wise, she aspires to be a journalist. Born Kelly Vera Rogers on November 16, 1985 in Redwood City, Calif.
