Petros Alex is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Oregon Ducks.
Alex grew up in Crete, Greece and graduated from the University of North Dakota with honors in 2023. While playing tennis at North Dakota, he helped the team to a program best season last year, and was on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for three years.
His mom, Kathy, was a national champion and four time All-American tennis player at UCLA. Alex has eight siblings, all who have competed in tennis at various levels. His brother Christo is currently at the University of North Dakota, while his youngest brother Emmanuel is a 5-star high school tennis recruit.
Prior to his time in Eugene, Alex worked for several years as a private coach for top ranked junior tennis players. He also worked as the assistant director of North Oaks Tennis in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
