In consideration of being permitted to participate in Bark in the Park on April 3, 2026, and bring your dog to Jane Sanders Stadium, you must first read and agree to the release and waiver agreement and submit the document PRIOR to entry.
2026 Bark in the Park Waiver
In order to purchase Bark in the Park tickets, you must first read and agree to the release and waiver displayed below. When you select the "I Accept" button, you will be indicating that you accept the terms of the release and waiver.
The person completing this form (the Participant) has registered to participate in the Bark in the Park (the “Event) sponsored by the University of Oregon at Jane Sanders Stadium (the “Ballpark”) on Saturday, April 19th.
Participant acknowledges that physical injury and death are risks inherent in this event for both myself and his/her dog (the “Dog), including, without limitation, all risks and danger inherent in a canine-oriented event (e.g., dog bites, fights or altercations, falls, contact with spectators at the Event) or the sport of softball (e.g., throwing and/or batted balls, thrown bats, or contact or collisions with any other persons) and that s/he acknowledges and assumes all such risks and danger that are incidental to or in any way arise from the Event.
Participant accepts personal responsibility for any and all actions of the Dog and agrees that the Dog will be on a leash and in Participant’s care and control while in the Ballpark before, during and after the Event. Participant hereby represents and confirms that the Dog is in good health and current on all vaccinations, including but not limited to Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, Parasites, Bordetella and that the Dog is not the subject of a quarantine order, a pending adjudication or administrative hearing, and has never been declared a dangerous, potentially dangerous, or vicious or potentially vicious dog.
Participant agrees to be bound by the terms of the rules and regulations established by the University of Oregon for the Event, and to abide by all applicable governmental laws, ordinances, orders, directions, rules and regulations as well as all rules and regulations that are adopted for this Event. Participant acknowledges the University of Oregon has reserved the right to exclude or eject any and all unruly, rowdy or disruptive Owner or Dog from the Event and/or the Ballpark without liability and that Participant shall be fully responsible for any damages or expenses, direct or indirect, incurred as a result of Participant’s or Dog's disruptive behavior and/or ejection. Participant further agrees that any Ballpark official may authorize and Participant consents to, necessary treatment for Participant and/or the Dog in the event of injury or emergency medical incident at Participant’s expense. Participant shall be solely responsible for clean-up and removal of any Dog waste from the Ballpark.
Participant hereby waives, releases and agrees not to claim against the University of Oregon for injury, damages, or losses other than those arising from the negligent acts or omissions of the University of Oregon, its employees, students and agents acting in the course and scope of the University-imposed duties.
- Friday, April 3rd - 6:00pm
- Every dog owner must purchase a ticket for this event.
- Season ticket holders and single game buyers for this game do not need to buy an additional ticket but will still be required to fill out and submit the waiver.
- There is a 1 adult(18+) to 1 dog ratio. One adult CANNOT bring multiple dogs.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times.
- Special giveaway for all dogs that are registered ahead of time.
- We DO NOT encourage walk ups
- Owners must ensure dogs have proper vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, Parasites, Bordetella)
- Please bring proof of vaccinations with you to the game.
- You will be asked and held liable for this information on the form below.
