Hall of Fame
Ron Lee
- Induction:
- 1992
He led the Oregon teams in scoring from the outset of his career, but he inspired the basketball phenomen known as the “Kamikaze Kids.” He is the only player in Ducks’ history to score 2,000 or more points, spearheading teams with as many life-long fans as victories.
He led Oregon to the National Invitation Tournament twice in the 1970s and packed McArthur Court in record-breaking numbers. He was a three-time all-America (1974-76) selection, a four-time all-league performer and the Pacific-8 Conference player of the year in 1976. His number 30 also has been retired, joining the starters on the Tall Firs to be so honored.
