KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The No. 12 University of Oregon women's golf team capped one of its most impressive fall campaigns ever with a 12th-place finish Sunday in third- and final-round action of the Mercedes-Benz SEC-Pac-12 Challenge, hosted at the Holston Hills Country Club.
Climbing another sport in the team standings Sunday, the Ducks (301-300-295-896) staked their low round of the tourney, and the sixth-best of the round in the all-star event that featured 11 top-15 ranked teams and six more ranked top 30 nationally.
Overall in the team standings, No. 6 Alabama held onto its second-round lead (284-289-292-865) and won by four strokes over No. 1 UCLA (second, 281-297-291-869). "Cheyenne had another solid week for us," Oregon head coach Ria Scott
said. "She is getting so strong mentally and has matured so much both in
her game and demeanor this year."
Freshman Cassy Isagawa (39th-tie, 72-79-72-223) carded UO's low score Sunday with her second par round of the event. Sunday's total marked her ninth round of par or better this season that already ties her for fourth-best all-time for Oregon in a season and seventh career-wise.
The Wailkuku, Hawai'i native posted three birdies Sunday (hole #2, 5, 7), 12 pars (#1, 3, 4, 6, 7-10, 12, 13, 15-17) and three bogeys (#11, 14, 18).

Raffi's game is starting to come together again, and I know we all wsh we didn't have to wait almost four months until our next event."
