TOURNAMENT HISTORY

LAST TIME OUT
Oregon is fresh off its first tournament win of the 2016 season as the Ducks fired a 10-under 854 at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz. two weeks ago. The team's 54 hole total (285, 282, 287 - 854) matched the third-best total in program history, equaling last year's performance at the Westbrook, which saw the Ducks finish second.
On Feb. 21, the team played two rounds and led the 15-team field at the end of play. Paired with members of the SMU and Ohio State squads, the Ducks were tied with three other teams for first place at the end of the first round and then used a strong second round to grab sole place atop the leaderboard.
Petra Salko shot a new career low in the opening round as the freshmen fired a 3-under 69. Caroline Inglis tied her season-low as she carded a 2-under 70. Rounding out the counting scores was a pair of 1-over 73's shot by Cathleen Santoso and Kathleen Scavo.
Oregon's strong play carried over into the second round where Inglis and Santoso each fired a 3-under 69 and Scavo carded a 2-under 70. Salko added the other counting score as she finished with a 2-over 74.
In the final round on Sunday, Feb. 22, UO started on the first four holes and was paired with members of the Kansas State and UNLV squads. After firing a blistering 6-under 282 in the second round on Saturday, the Ducks once again finished under par as a team as they fired a 1-under 287.
Santoso led the way for Oregon as the junior made par through the front nine and then birdied twice on the back nine to shoot a 2-under 70. Scavo made par on her first seven holes before a bogey pushed her to 1-over going into the back nine. There, she fired birdies on Nos. 11 and 13 to get back into red numbers, finishing at 1-under. Salko and Inglis rounded out the counting scores as they each fired a 1-over 73.
DUCKS GO LOW
At the Westbrook Invitational, four Ducks set new season or career lows including Caroline Inglis, Cathleen Santoso, Petra Salko and Kathleen Scavo.
Salko shot a career-low in the opening round at the Westbrook, firing a 3-under 69, one stroke lower than the 1-under 70 she carded in the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate.
Scavo shot a 2-under 70 in the second round for a new career-low. The score is one stroke better than the even-71 she recorded in the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate.
Inglis and Santoso each fired a 3-under 69 in the second round, marking a new season low for each. Inglis' previous low was a 3-under 70 that she fired in the opening round of the UNM Dick McGuire/Branch Law Invitational. Santoso's previous season-best was a 1-under 70 that she shot in the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate.
As a team, the Ducks set a new season-low in the second round with its 6-under 282. The score is good for sixth-best all time in Oregon women's golf history.
