EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon women's tennis team swept the Eastern Washington Eagles 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Student Tennis Center.
In doubles, Nia Rose and Rifanty Kahfiani defeated Faye Worrall and Erin Blessing, 6-4. Ducks' pair Marlou Kluiving and Julia Eshet won 6-0 and Janvhi Clark and Daniela Nasser took down Katrina Domingo and Valentina Sottile, 6-1.
In singles, both Rose and Kahfiani won 6-1, 6-0 against Worrall and Lopez, respectively. Kluiving had a two-set victory over Blessing, 6-3, 6-1. With a final of 6-1, 6-1, Nasser defeated Heinen. In a two-set tiebreaker, Eshet was victorious over Swindell, 6-1, 7-6(5). In the final singles match-up that went to a third set tiebreaker, Clark won 4-6, 6-3, 10-8.
