
Lacrosse Signs Eight To The Class of 2022

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon women's lacrosse head coach Katrina Dowd announced the signing of eight players to National Letters of Intent during the fall early signing period.
Jamie Level | Novato, Calif.
Novato High School | Attack/Midfield
A three-sport athlete, Jamie Level heads to Eugene having played on one of the top high school lacrosse teams in the country. During her three-year career at Novato, the Hornets went 71-4 overall winning three straight North Coast Section Division I championships. In 2017, Level recorded 61 goals and 30 assists on her way to being named a 2017 All-American as well as the Marin Independent Journal 2017 player of the year. So far Level has accounted for 133 goals, 70 assists and 267 draw controls won in her three years as a Hornet.
Carlie Leach | Lake Oswego, Ore.
Lake Oswego High School | Midfield
Carlie Leach will make the short two-hour drive south from Lake Oswego to join the Ducks in 2018. Leach has been a consistent presence for the Lakers, helping them to three straight league championships as well as back-to-back state championships in 2016 and 2017. During the 2017 state championship game, Leach led the team with seven goals to secure the state title. A three-time first-team all-league selection, Leach was named first-team all-state in 2017. In her three years at Lake Oswego, Leach has accumulated 155 goals and 46 assists.
Rachel Hall | Cypress, Texas
Cypress Woods High School | Goalie
Rachel Hall joins Oregon as a highly-touted recruit from Texas after being named to the Inside Lacrosse top prospect watch list. Hall was selected to represent Texas in the US Lacrosse Women's National Team Tournament in 2016. A 2017 all-state selction, Hall was also chosen to participate in the 2016 and 2017 Under Armour All-American Games.
Hayley Reardon | The Woodlands, Texas
The Woodlands High School | Midfield/Attack
Hayley Reardon will join fellow Texas native Hall on the Ducks 2018-19 squad. Reardon closed out the 2017 season recording 42 goals and 21 assists.to earn all-state recognition for the second straight year while. Reardon and Hall shared the field many times as both were chosen to represent Texas in the US Lacrosse Women's National Team Tournament. The duo joined forces once again at the Under Armour All-American Games in both 2016 and 2017.
Lily Charnes | Dallas, Texas
Episcopal School of Dallas | Midfield/Attack
A dual sport athlete on both the girl's lacrosse and basketball teams, Lily Charnes is Oregon's third recruit from Texas. Charnes helped the Episcopal School of Dallas to their first-ever conference and state titles in 2017 defeating Reardon's Woodland High School team in the semifinals. Charnes was named a captain of the Eagles lacrosse team heading into her senior year.
Lily Shalz | Boise, Idaho
Bishop Kelly High School | Midfield/Attack
The Ducks welcome another dual sport athlete to the 2018-19 roster in Lily Schalz who played on Bishop Kelly's basketball team as well as the lacrosse team. Shalz was an Idaho lacrosse league all-star throughout her first three years in high school. In 2017, she was selected to the U17 Idaho national team 2017.
Logan Gierke | Winter Park, Fla.
Lake Highland Prep | Attack/Defense
A four-year letter winner and captain of her high school lacrosse team, Logan Gierke comes to Oregon from Winter Park, Fla. Gierke is an all-around threat on the field having accumulated 23 goals, 13 assists and 102 ground balls while causing 34 turnovers in her three years at Lake Highland Prep. A 2017 US Lacrosse all-American and all-area team selection, Gierke was a member of the central Florida national team the past three years in a row.
Allison Brown | Huntington, Md.
St. Mary's Ryken High School | Midfield
Another three-sport athlete, Allison Brown comes to Oregon having lettered all four years in lacrosse at St. Mary's Ryken. Brown was also a part of the Knight's swim team and field hockey team earning WCAC second team all-league honors for field hockey. Brown was named a captain on the lacrosse team this past season accounting for 30 goals, 17 assists and 28 ground balls this past season. Over the summer, Brown led her club team, the South Maryland Jets, with 61 goals, 30 assists, 42 ground balls and 60 draw controls.
