Ducks Three Strokes Out of Qualification Entering Final Round

CLE ELUM, Wash. - With one round left to play at the 2019 NCAA Regionals, the Oregon women's golf team is within striking distance of a trip to the national championship.
The Ducks currently sit in ninth at 15-over after two rounds at the Tumble Creek Club. Ohio State and UCF are tied for sixth at 12-over and the top six teams in each regional will move on to the national championship in Fayetteville, Ark., on May 17-22.
After a standout first round in which she shot a 5-under, Kathleen Scavo was even par in her second round on Tuesday. The senior tallied four birdies and four bogeys on the day, one under on the front nine and one under on the back nine. Scavo is alone in fourth place individually going into Wednesday's final round.
Amy Matsuoka is in 40th after shooting a 4-over 76 in her second round. She was 2-over on Monday.
Petra Salko and Tze-Han Lin both shot a 2-over 74 in their second rounds and both are 7-over for the tournament and tied for 49th.
Alexis Phadungmartvorakul tallied a 9-over 81 on Tuesday and is tied for 87th. She was 9-over on the front nine but even par on the back nine.
The Ducks tee off at 8:30 AM on Wednesday looking for their 11th trip all-time to nationals and first since 2017.
