Ducks at the IAAF World Championships

EUGENE, Ore. - Set to feature nine past UO standouts, the 2019 IAAF World Championships begin Friday, Sept. 27. The 10-day meet will be held at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar. Among the group of Ducks is defending world champion Phyllis Francis at 400 meters.

Back stateside, the Ducks' cross country teams will host the Bill Dellinger Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Pine Ridge Golf Club in Springfield, Ore. Between both races, there will be 17 teams mentioned in the most recent national poll including 11 top-30 teams. The men's 8K is scheduled for a 10:30 a.m. (PT) start with the women's 6K to follow at 11:30 a.m.
