Reduced Lane County Risk Level Now Allows Limited Amount of Spectators at Events
High risk level of Lane County now allows limited amount of fans at outdoor athletics venues beginning April 27.
3/18/2021
As of Friday, May 7:
We are excited to be able to welcome a limited number of guests back into our outdoor venues under the current High Risk guidelines (15% total capacity) set forth by the Oregon Health Authority for Lane County. In this rapidly changing environment, the safety of our community remains our top priority.
Strict guidelines on social distancing, wearing a mask that covers your mouth and nose, and other health precautions will continue to stay in place. Given the differing capacity levels of our venues under the current High Risk guidelines, certain venues will be allowed to offer a limited number of tickets to the general public while other venues will only allow families and guests of our student-athletes and coaches.
We will continue working with public health authorities and the UO Incident Management Team should the County Risk Level change at any time and will keep everyone informed as this process continues. Thank you for your continued support to Oregon Athletics.
As of Tuesday, April 27:
Following directives Tuesday from the Governor's Office of the state of Oregon tied to Lane County's move to the designation of Extreme Risk, fans will not be permitted at the annual Oregon Football Spring Game on Saturday.
Passes previously claimed for the Spring Game will not be valid for admittance.
This year's spring game, which begins Saturday at 2 p.m., will be televised by the Pac-12 Network and also will be available on the radio via Oregon Sports Network stations.
The following link (PDF) outlines the OHA parameters that govern each risk level.
