BATON ROUGE, La. – Extreme weather and poor course conditions forced play at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional to be canceled for the second day in a row on Tuesday at The University Club.
The plan is for play to begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. PT on Wednesday, the final day of the three-day regional. Decisions regarding the amount of holes and number of rounds that can be completed on Wednesday are still to be determined.
If the regional is unable to be played, the top six seeds in the 18-team field would automatically advance to the NCAA Championships (May 21-26) in Scottsdale, Ariz. Oregon is the No. 4 seed in the Baton Rouge Regional.
