Six Oregon Programs Achieve Perfect Graduation Success Rate
11/15/22 | General
Six different University of Oregon athletics programs achieved a perfect Graduate Success Rate (GSR) of 100 percent by student-athletes who enrolled at the UO between 2012-15 and received athletics aid.
The six UO individual programs achieving a 100% GSR include women's tennis, men's tennis, women's golf, soccer, women's basketball, and acrobatics and tumbling. Both tennis programs posted a 100% for the sixth consecutive year, while women's golf did so for the fifth consecutive year and acrobatics and tumbling for the third year in a row.
The overall GSR for the UO athletic department is 84 percent, up one point from last year's data and the 12th consecutive year that UO has posted an overall GSR of 80 or higher.
"Graduating student-athletes remains our highest priority at the University of Oregon, and our student-athletes consistently achieve at a high level in the classroom," said UO athletic director Rob Mullens. "The tremendous results produced by our student-athletes are a testament to their commitment as well as to the efforts of the outstanding staff at the Jaqua Center, who work tremendously hard to help our student-athletes achieve their academic goals."
A total of nine UO programs posted a GSR of 80 or above. Also, for all Oregon student-athletes who exhausted their eligibility, their GSR was 88 percent.
