PBR's Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Returns to Matthew Knight Arena for PBR Eugene
EUGENE, O.R. – For the second consecutive season, the PBR's (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour will buck into Eugene, Oregon, at Matthew Knight Arena April 4-5.
For two nights only, some of the best bull riders in the world will duel with some of the rankest bovine competitors bred to buck in a must-see showdown that is only coming to town once in 2025.
Tickets for the two-day event are available beginning Thursday, November 21, at 10:00 a.m. PT and start at $15, taxes and fees not included. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, at PBR.com or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727. Tickets are also available at the Matthew Knight Arena Box Office.
At the Velocity Tour's debut in Eugene in 2024, Shane Scott (Molalla, Oregon) rode supreme to take the win in front of his home-state fans.
In Round 1, Scott recorded the first qualified ride of the night, sitting tall aboard Maximum Velocity (Big Bend/Flying Five) for a round-winning 85.5 points.
Paired with Timmy (Corey & Lange Rodeo) for his second out of the night, Scott rocketed out of the chutes but was unseated after 2.26 seconds.
Bouncing back, the Oregonian posted another 85.5-point outing on Smoke Show (Big Bend/Flying Five). Despite being bucked off by Nuff Said (Corey & Lange Rodeo), Scott's 2-for-4 performance was enough to take home the event buckle.
The Eugene Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour stop is the 27th event of the year. In 2024, the Velocity Tour hosted more than 356,000 fans, setting 16 event attendance records, while selling out 20 event days.
The bull riding action for 2025 PBR Eugene begins at 8:00 p.m. PT on Friday, April 4, and 7:00 p.m. PST on Saturday, April 5 at Matthew Knight Arena.
Forty (40) bull riders will get on one bull in Round 1. Round 2 on Saturday evening will feature the Top 36 riders from Round 1; the riders' individual two-round scores will then be totaled, with the Top 10 advancing to the championship round for one more out and a chance at the event title.
PBR VIP Elite Seats are available starting at $211 for avid fans who want an exclusive VIP experience while enjoying some of the world's best bull riders. These tickets offer the best seats in the venue, a post-show photo experience on the dirt, a commemorative VIP wristband and a personal on-site concierge at the PBRewards Booth on the concourse.
