Furutani and Santitto battled to win a pair of matches on Saturday, their fourth straight win in the tournament. The duo advanced to the quarterfinal round after they ousted Washington's pair of Karolina Kozakova and Jermine Sherif, 8-4. Later in the day, they took down Stanford's Kaia Giribalan and Tianmei Wang 8-5 to move on to Sunday's semifinal round, where they will meet Nela Jandova and Marina Markina of Washington at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Furutani remains unbeaten in doubles action this fall, improving to 7-0 while playing with four different partners. It marks the second straight doubles quarterfinal appearance for the sophomore Furutani. Santitto pushed her fall doubles record to 6-1.
