GLENDALE, Calif. – Sophomore Tong An is in the top 10 on the individual leaderboard with 18 holes remaining at the 2026 Big Ten Championships after shooting even par on Saturday in the second round at Oakmont Country Club.Â
The No. 6 Ducks finished day two with an 11-over 291 to remain in seventh place in the 18-team field at 21-over par. No. 2 USC leads the field at 4-under par going into the final round.Â
How it Happened: It was a steady second round for An, who made 16 pars on her way to an even-par 70. She made her lone bogey of the day at No. 6, but immediately got that stroke back with a birdie at No. 7 and then finished out with 11 straight pars.
An is tied for ninth overall at 1-over par going into Sunday's final round, six strokes behind USC's Bailey Shoemaker (-5) for the individual lead.Â
Annika Ishiyama came in two strokes behind An with a 2-over 72. The sophomore made a team-high five birdies, but also had five bogeys and a double bogey.
Karen Tsuru finished with a 4-over 74, and Darae Chung rounded out the counting scores with a 5-over 75. Chung provided the highlight of the day with an eagle on the par-4 seventh hole.Â
