04/29/26 | Women's Golf
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's golf team will make its 18th consecutive NCAA Regional appearance after being selected as the No. 2 seed at the NCAA Waco Regional on Wednesday.
The Ducks - who are No. 8 in the latest national rankings - have reached a NCAA Regional every year since 2008, excluding the 2019-20 season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be the program's 30th all-time NCAA Regional appearance.Â
The 2026 NCAA Waco Regional will be hosted by Baylor at Ridgwood Country Club on May 11-13. Oregon is the No. 2 seed in the 12-team field, with the top five teams after three rounds of stroke play advancing to the 2026 NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, Calif., on May 22-27.
"It's always exciting to hear your name called during the selection show," said head coach Derek Radley. "We are thrilled to have the opportunity to head to Waco with a chance to compete for a spot at the NCAA Championships. Our team has worked hard all season and this selection is a reflection of the effort and focus they have put in since the start of the fall. I'm excited to see what we're able to do."
Oregon is looking to advance to the NCAA Championships for the fifth year in a row. The Ducks have advanced through stroke play into match play in three of the last four years, including back-to-back trips to the national semifinals in Carlsbad in each of the last two seasons.
The Ducks have put together another solid season in 2025-26, the eighth under Radley. Oregon owns a terrific 102-23-0 competitive record while placing in the top five in nine of 10 tournaments, including a win at the East Lake Cup in the fall and four runner-up finishes.Â
