Extra Yards for Teachers Nomination
Do you know a teacher who goes above and beyond for their students? The University of Oregon Athletic Department and the Pac-12 Conference have partnered with the College Football Playoff Extra Yards for Teachers program to be able to award four lucky teachers with over $1,500 each! In addition to receiving over $1,500, each winning teacher will receive 2 tickets to the Oregon vs California football game on November 4th and be recognized on the field during the game.
Please fill out the form below to nominate a local teacher from the state of Oregon who you believe goes the extra yard. Nominations will be accepted through 11:59pm PT on Saturday, October 21st, and the winners will be selected by Wednesday, October 25th.
In addition to the Extra Yard for Teachers campaign, we are also excited to participate for the Big Day for Teachers on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023. One lucky teacher will be the recipient of a $1,000 grant to help further their efforts of sustainability, community service, DEIBJ, STEAM, or supporting at-risk youth. If you know a teacher that strives to help their students in the area listed above, please complete the form below and include the reason why they should earn this grant. The same form below can be used for both entries (Big Day for Teachers and Extra Yard for Teachers) and entries close on Wednesday, September 13th.
