The two-time first-team all-Baseline League pick was rated among the top 90 prep prospects in California by SuperPrep magazine after helping lead the Cougars to a 7-4 record his senior year. Excelled at both wide receiver and free safety in 2003 to rank as his team’s second-leading tackler and receiving runner-up, recording 74 tackles as well as nine receptions for 209 yards and two touchdowns. Epitomizing his talents were eight or more tackles in five of 11 games a year ago, including a season-high 12 takedowns vs. Alta Loma. Also contributed two interceptions, forced two fumbles and recovered a pair of loose footballs last season. Offensively, averaged 4.1 yards per rushing attempt (65 yards). Described as a physical athlete who does not shy away from contact, and is reported to boast of a best bench press of 280 lbs., a 490-lb. squat as well as a 32-inch vertical jump.
