Rated the seventh-best prep prospect in the state (SuperPrep), the honorable mention all-state (The Oregonian) selection on both offense (tight end) and defense (linebacker) concluded his prep career by claiming all-league accolades each of his last three seasons. Also ranks 27th on Rivals.com’s list of the nation’s top tight end recruits. Caught 26 passes for 367 yards and six touchdowns for the Colts his senior year en route to earning first-team all-Midwestern League plaudits on both sides of the football. Also carried the ball 18 times for 105 yards in addition to completing 10 of 23 passes for 164 yards. Tallied 14 receptions for 232 yards as a junior to add second-team all-league attributes on the gridiron to his first-team all-conference honors on the basketball court. Boasting of personal weight-room bests of a 285-lb. bench press and 440-lb. squat, currently ranks sixth in the Midwestern League in scoring on the hardwood with a 13.9-point average.
