Aaron Klovas Offensive Line 6-6 311 Graham, Wash. Bethel High School |
Named to the first-team USA Today All-America team despite not taking up the sport until the ninth grade. Few honors have escaped the standout who is considered one of the best offensive line prospects in the West as well as the fifth-best at his craft in the country by SuperPrep magazine. Regarded as Washington’s most coveted offensive lineman in almost a decade, was one of three players at his position voted to the Long Beach Press-Telegram’s Best in the West elite. The 2003 SuperPrep and PrepStar Dream Team All-American was one of eight players selected to the Seattle Times’ Blue Chip ledger, one of six standouts on the Tacoma News Tribune’s Northwest Nuggets list and was chosen offensive MVP by the Seattle P-I. He did not allow a quarterback sack his senior year while paving the way for a 1,600-yard rusher, and protected current Oregon quarterback Johnny DuRocher’s blind side at Bethel High School in 2001 and ?02. The two-time first-team all-South Puget Sound League South Division recipient combines power and tremendous size to have the potential to become a great pass blocker, yet his quick reflexes and great feet contribute to his excellent mobility to aid his ability in running situations. Possessing a great passion for the game and his foundation of outstanding coaching at the prep level contributed to him being voted the top line prospect at last summer’s Nike Combine at the University of Washington. Participated in this year’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
