Rated among the top 75 prep prospects in the state (SuperPrep) as well as California’s best 15 offensive line recruits, earning all-city honors by the L.A. Times. Advanced to 36th on Rivals.com list of the nation’s premier offensive tackle prospects and included among the Tacoma News Tribune’s Western One-hundred selections. Possessed outstanding versatility as both a run blocker and protecting the passer for a team, recording 65 pancake blocks for an offense which averaged 250 yards per game on the ground in addition to not allowing a quarterback sack his senior season. Defensively, credited with 10 tackles for loss and two quarterback sacks among his 55 stops, in addition to deflecting three passes and recovering one fumble. The multi-sport standout excels as the starting center on the school’s basketball team as well as was decorated with all-city acclaim as a pitcher on last spring’s baseball team. Tallied a 1.5 ERA while sporting an 8-3 record with two saves as the Western League's most improved player in 2003. Selected to take part in last month’s CaliFlorida Bowl.
