Led the Wildcats with 10 quarterback sacks and was third on the team in tackles, acquiring first-team all-city accolades while assisting the school to the L.A. City Championship his senior season. Team advanced to the second round of the playoffs before culminating the year with a 22-7 setback to Locke High School, finishing with a 7-4-1 ledger. Paved the way for the league’s second and third-leading rusher as an offensive tackle as well as a 1,000-yard passer for a unit which ended last year second in the league in scoring (20.3 avg.) while averaging 198.4 yards of total offense. The 2002 first-team all-Western League stalwart also doubles as a track & field combatant, specializing in the 400 meters and shot put.
