QUICK HITS
A brief look at what to watch for this week:
Seattle Stew. The Ducks head to a city where they have won just twice in the last seven years for Thursday’s contest. Oregon last won at Bank of America Arena in 2000-01 (85-73) thanks to Luke Jackson’s triple-double. Conversely, Pullman has been kinder to the Ducks than others; Oregon has won five of its last six at Friel Court.
Three Amigos. The Ducks are third nationally and first in the Pac-10 in three-point shooting percentage, hitting 42.0 percent. Southern Utah is the current national leader at 43.3 percent.
Jack of All Trades. All-America candidate Luke Jackson is one of only five players in the country leading his team in scoring (22.2), rebounding (7.0) and assists (4.8) per game. And for good measure, he also leads the Ducks in steals (20) and FT shooting (.872).
Samurai Jack. Pac-10 Player of the Year candidate Luke Jackson is leading the league in scoring (23.1 ppg) in conference games, and is also first in FT Pct. (.901), second in assists (5.6 apg) and sixth in rebounding (6.9 rpg).
Do You Know Jack? Wooden Award candidate Luke Jackson has led Oregon in both scoring and assists in eight of the last nine games.
Senior James Davis is the league’s active career leader in three-pointers with 208 and ranks third all-time at UO.
