Women's Tennis Hits Road for Three Non-Conference Duals

WHAT’S UP
Top 30? - For the first time in three weeks, the Ducks slipped out of the Top 25. Oregon falls from No. 24 to 27 in the recent ITA Tennis poll.
Record Breaker - Junior Daria Panova needs nine more wins (24-7) to become to single season all-time win leader at Oregon...a record she already owns with 32.
Double Trouble - The Ducks’ doubles squads of Daria Panova/Courtney Nagle (9 wins), Dominika Dieskova/Anna Leksinska (12), and Davina Mendiburu/Ester Bak (11) are all in position to place among the all-time top 10 doubles for victories a season.
Iron Woman - Senior Courtney Nagle (113 matches) needs eight matches to become Oregon’s all-time leader in matches played.
LAST WEEK - #8 Washington - The Ducks had an upset brewing but came up short, 4-3, to the Huskies. After winning the doubles point, Oregon lost four of the six singles matches. No. 8-ranked Daria Panova and Anna Leksinska picked up victories.
#49 Washington State - Bad luck continued for Oregon as they dropped another 4-3 match, to the Cougars. Again, the Ducks snagged the doubles point but could not produce in singles play. Daria Panova won her third straight match, pushing her record to 10-4 in duals.
SCOUTING REPORT - St. Mary's (CA) - The Gaels are 4-9 on the season and in the midst of a two-game winning streak...defeating UC Davis and San Jose State. Freshman Aude Lambert is 5-8 in duals at the No. 1 position.
Kansas State - The Wildcats are 3-5 on the season and play instate rival Kansas before taking on the Ducks. Maria Rosenberg is K-State’s top player, posting a 16-8 overall and 6-2 dual record at the No. 1 position. She teams with Paulina Castillejos in doubles, where they currently hold a 6-2 dual record at the No. 1 spot.
#50 Missouri - The Tigers are 8-6 on the season. They play No. 14 Fresno State and Minnesota before taking on the Ducks. Senior Urska Juric was ranked as high as No. 24 last season. She also has All-Big 12 honors under her belt.
