April 13th Practice Report
On a chilly afternoon on Kilkenny Field, the Ducks opened week two of spring practice. In the first practice following Saturday’s scrimmage the, team continued to work on their offensive and defensive execution.
“We are nowhere close to being there,” senior rover Marley Tucker explained when asked about the secondary’s status. “We have a lot of returners (in the secondary), but J.D.’s (Nelson) new and we are trying to find another corner. As far as being there? No. But we are working toward being there.”
The Ducks will return to the field on Thursday and will hold the spring’s second scrimmage on Saturday.
