Tennis Ends Play at Pac-10 Championships

OJAI, Calif. ? The Oregon men’s tennis team ended play at the Pacific-10 Championships today. Junior Thomas Bieri and senior Chris King were defeated in the semifinals of the invitational doubles draw.
Bieri and King were defeated by Stanford’s Phil Sheng and James Wan, 8-4. The duo had won two previous matches to advance to the semifinals but came up short in their bid to reach the finals.
The postseason fate of the Ducks (9-10, 1-6) will be in the hands of the NCAA selection committee, who will delegate the field of 64 next week.
