EUGENE, Ore. ? The University of Oregon women’s golf team is going back to the postseason.
The Ducks earned the No. 10 seed for the May 6-8 NCAA West Regional at Stanford, ending a three year postseason drought for the University. The Ducks last appeared in the NCAA Regional in 2001 and none of the current team members have ever been in postseason play.

The top eight teams at the regional will advance to the NCAA Championships. Pac-10 winner UCLA earned the No. 1 seed, followed by Big Ten champ Ohio State. The rest of the first 10 seeds, in order, are California, Georgia, Texas, Washington, Stanford, Pepperdine, Arizona State and Oregon.
The remainder of the field includes San Francisco, New Mexico State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Brigham Young, Texas Tech, Denver, Washington State, Portland State, Cal State Northridge and Oral Roberts.
