Ducks To Donate Football Scrimmage Proceeds To Lane County Food Bank

EUGENE -- A donation of non-perishable food items to Food for Lane County will serve as admission for the University of Oregon’s final spring football scrimmage May 1 in Autzen Stadium at 12:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on most radio networks along the Oregon Sports Network, including KUGN in Eugene and KXL in Portland. It will also be televised on Comcast Televison (Channel 14) and live on the O-Zone at GoDucks.com Three food items per person are requested of all spectators for Saturday’s Spring Game, which concludes the schools 15 off-season workouts. This years scrimmage will be an offense versus defense formula as opposed to the squad being split into two teams. Parking for the football exhibition will be on a first-come, first-served basis and free of charge, with the east parking lot gates opening at 9:30 a.m. Gates to enter Autzen Stadium will open at 11:30, with only the East and South entrances as well as the Southwest Ramp facilitating entry. All seating will be general admission, with fans requested to sit on the south side of the stadium only.
