Nyhus, Boskovich Highlight Postseason Honors For Duck Softball
EUGENE ? Junior pitcher Ani Nyhus earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors while senior catcher Jenn Poore was named to the second team All Pac-10 list. Nyhus became the first Oregon player since 1999 to earn first-team honors while this is Poore’s first Pac-10 honor.
Sophomore Beth Boskovich and junior Ashley Richards were honorable mention all-Pac-10 selections and all four were named to the 2004 NCAA All-Regional team after Oregon’s postseason run at the Tallahassee, Fla., regional. Boskovich was also a second-team all-region honoree, becoming the first Oregon player since 1999 to be named to the all-region team.
Academically, sophomore Dani Baird (3.52, Pre-journalism) was a first-team Pac-10 all academic selection while junior Erin Goodell (3.12, History) earned second team honors.
