Pairings Party Set for Sunday at McArthur Court

EUGENE, Ore. ? A "Pairings Party" is set for Sunday at McArthur Court. But it’s really the Big Dance to which the University of Oregon women’s basketball team wants to be invited as it’s hopeful for its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2001.
The first 500 fans through the Mac Court doors, which open at 1:30 p.m., will receive free soda and popcorn. There is no admission charge for the event.
The one-hour selection show will begin at 2 p.m. live on ESPN. Big screen televisions will be available for the fans’ viewing pleasure as the Ducks anticipate their invitation into the 64-team tournament.
