Women's Tennis Hosts No. 22 BYU on Saturday

Winners of 22 of its last 23 regular season non-conference dual matches, the No. 26-ranked University of Oregon women’s tennis team (11-2, 1-1) looks to continue its impressive play as it hosts No. 22 BYU, Saturday, at noon, at the Student Tennis Center. The storyline for the Ducks this season has been their doubles play, winning the doubles point in 12 of 13 matches.
Last Week ? The Ducks fought off a scrappy Princeton squad, 4-3. After winning the doubles point for the 12th time in 13 matches, Oregon got a three-set victory from senior Ester Bak to seal the win.
Scouting #22 BYU ? The Cougars are 11-2 overall with wins against top-25 ranked Notre Dame and South Carolina. The key matchup looks to be BYU’s Olga Boulytcheva, who is 16-5 overall and 8-1 in duals and Oregon’s Dominika Dieskova, who is 10-3 in duals and winner of 10 of her last 12 dual matches. BYU’s No. 1 doubles team of Laura Jones and Dolly Chang (13-8 overall) is ranked No. 56.
