Wrestling Sends Four to NCAA's

With three Pacific-10 Conference Champions and a fifth-place finisher, the University of Oregon wrestling team will send all four wrestlers to the 75th annual NCAA Championships, March 17-19, at the Savvis Center, in St. Louis, Mo.

Scott Barker, Sr. (197) ? The third Oregon wrestler to enter the Pac-10 tournament as a No. 1 seed and win a title. Posted eight wins over the current InterMat 197-pound top 20. Pac-10 title marks his second conference crown after winning the Big 12 title in 2003. Will head to the NCAA’s for a third time (two at Missouri). Leads the team with 31 wins and 15 pins. Currently ranked fourth by InterMat. Career record (includes three seasons at Missouri) ? 70-23
Cody Parker, So. (Hwt.) ? Will head to the NCAA’s after placing fifth at the Pac-10 tournament and earning a wildcard berth. Posted a career-high 16 wins, good for fifth on the team. Closed out the Pac-10 tourney with a pin and a second win over fourth-seed Eric Parker of Bakersfield. Career record -- 23-23
