Ducks Take on No. 4 North Carolina, Davidson

The Ducks (2-8, 0-3 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), looking to end a three-game losing skid, will play No. 4-ranked North Carolina (8-2, 1-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) at 3 p.m. Friday and Davidson (3-5, 0-3 American Lacrosse Conference) at 11 a.m. Saturday during a weekend in North Carolina. North Carolina sophomore midfielder Jenn Cook was twice named Co-Player of the Week for the ACC this season. The Tar Heels defeated No. 5 Penn State last weekend, 13-7. Davidson, on a two-game losing streak, will play Canisius on March 31 before squaring off with the Ducks at Belk Turf Field. Oregon is led by standouts Jen May with a team-leading 23 goals, Erin Gaebe with 22 ground balls, and Emily Fowler with 11 assists. Jana Bradley is Oregon’s second-leading goal scorer with 20 on the season.
