Swinnen Cruises Into Pac-10 Semfinals, Doubles Team Also Advances

OJAI, Calif. ? No. 16 Sven Swinnen’s quest for a Pacific-10 Conference title remains after the senior reached the semifinals of the championship draw Friday with a straight set win over Arizona State’s Chris Biro. Manuel Kost and Thomas Bieri also earned the right to play tomorrow, defeating two ranked doubles teams en route to a berth in Saturday’s championship doubles draw semifinals.
