UO Golfers Ma, St. Clair Honored by Pac-10

EUGENE, Ore. ? Oregon golfers Matt Ma and Justin St. Clair were named to the Pac-10’s all-conference teams, announced Friday.
Ma, a sophomore from Aiea, Hawaii, was named to the all-Pac-10 second team. He leads Oregon with a 72.6 scoring average, and has finished 14th or better in five consecutive tournaments, including a tie-for-14th at this week’s Pac-10 championships. Ma is the first Duck named to the league’s first or second team since John Ellis in 2003.
St. Clair, a junior from Springfield, Ore., earned all-Pac-10 honorable mention status by virtue of tying for fifth individually at the Pac-10 championships. He shot a 2-under 282 It was the highest finish at the conference tournament by a Duck golfer in 13 years. St. Clair has a 74.2 season scoring average.
Oregon is awaiting a bid to the May 19-21 NCAA West Regional at Stanford. Bids will be announced Monday.
