Men's Golfers Look to Continue Hot Streak at NCAA Regional

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Oregon men's golf team has finished seventh or better in five straight tournaments. Another showing like that this week and Oregon will be headed to its second NCAA Championships in three years.
Oregon will be the No. 21 seed to the NCAA West Regional, which will be held Thursday, May 19 through Saturday, May 21 at the 6,742-yard, par-71 Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif. There are three regionals that will be held nationally May 19-21 (the other two are at Nashville and Notre Dame). The top 10 teams (out of 27) from each regional, plus two individuals, will advance to the NCAA Championships, June 1-4 in Baltimore, Md. Oregon was the next-to-last at-large seed for the West Regional; only No. 22 Denver was lower.
