The PrepStar all-region choice and honorable mention all-state standout is ranked among the top 25 prep prospects in Washington by rivals.com. Anchored the Bears’ offensive line his senior year and paved the way for a pair of running backs that accumulated over 1,800 yards in a run-oriented offensive attack. Received much of the credit for program’s 237.5-yard rushing average which included 477 yards on the ground vs. Rogers and 349 yards against Cheney. Received first-team all-Greater Spokane League honors on offense in 2005 after earning the kudos on defense his junior year. Possessed the strength and savvy to disrupt the oppositions’ offensive attack as a defender in 2004. The Bears finished the year with an 8-3 mark and tied for fourth in the Greater Spokane League, with a season-ending setback to Southridge halting a seven-game winning streak after getting the year off to a 1-2 start. Has been chosen to take part in the state’s East-West all-star game in Everett, Wash., in July. Also has displayed his talents as a dual-sport athlete, advancing to the state’s regional level in the discus and shot put.
