Ducks Ready to Open Second Season's Home Slate

The Oregon lacrosse team will open their home schedule in a match in Beaverton on the Nike Campus.
The Ducks will host the University of North Carolina Tar Heels beginning at 1 p.m. on the Bo Jackson Field.
“We are excited to host a showcase event like this for lacrosse in the Northwest,” Head coach Jen Larsen said. “This will be an exciting match up for fans and give us a chance to continue building up lacrosse in the region. Nike has been very gracious in helping us organize the weekend's events.”
After the game the Ducks will honor the men’s lacrosse club team further spotlighting the growth of the sport in the Pacific Northwest. Also the Ducks will host a lacrosse camp, Sunday.
The North Carolina Tar Heels open their season against the Ducks having competed in an exhibition tournament last weekend.
The Ducks are 0-1 on the young season and 0-1 in MPSF games losing 18-9 to Stanford last weekend to open their second season.
