Fleming Tabbed Honor Roll Player of the Week
Sophomore midfielder Kate Fleming was honored by www.womenslacrosse.com, as an Honor Roll Player of the Week.
Other players honored include Megan Huether of Duke, Kristen Kjellman of Northwestern, Lindsay Pieper of Virginia Tech and Kerry Shea of Penn State.
Fleming’s outstanding performance against UC Davis no doubt helped put her on the list. Currently Duke and Northwestern are ranked No.1 and No. 2 in the latest poll, while Penn State is a top-10 team as well.
Against the Aggies, Sunday, Fleming scored five goals and added an assist, while taking only six shots.
The lacrosse team returns to action when they face St. Mary’s in their home opener, Friday beginning at 7 p.m.
