Ducks Stumble in First Round of Blue Gray Tournament

The University of Oregon men’s tennis team fell in their first round match of the Blue Gray Tennis Tournament as top-seeded and 12th ranked Louisville rolled winning, 4-0, Thursday, in Montgomery, Ala.
“This was the worst I have seen us play all season,” head coach Kevin Kowalik said. “We tip our hat to Louisville, they came out strong and jumped on us early and then did a good job of putting us away.”
The match began with singles play and since Louisville accumulated 4 team points the doubles matches were not played and was delayed due to rain.
The Ducks return to the courts tomorrow when they face Alabama, beginning at 2:30 p.m. (PST)
