CRESWELL, Ore. ? The University of Idaho women’s golf team ended the first day atop the team and individual leader boards of the Oregon Duck Invitational Monday, held on the Emerald Valley Golf Course.
Darkness postponed the end of the second round with approximately four holes left, and the remaining holes will be completed starting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning
The tourney’s third and final round will follow Tuesday morning, while a frost delay slowed the start of Monday morning’s first round by an hour.
With one round complete, the Vandal golfers lead the 16-team field with a four-player score of 300 on the par 72 course that measures 6,191 yards.
Washington State followed in second place with a 306, ahead of San Jose State (third, 307) and Oregon State (fourth, 310). The University of Oregon, without two players because of injuries, is tied for seventh at 318.
