GoDucks.com Student-Athlete of the Week - Rebekah Noble

Oregon freshman Rebekah Noble has been named GoDucks.com’s student-athlete of the week for the week of April 30-May 7th.
In the Oregon Twilight last Friday, the collegiate national leader in the 800 meters raced to a .26-second personal best en route to the win (2:02.85). She ranks #4 all-time for UO behind a trio of top-two NCAA placers from the early 80s - Claudette Groenendaal (1:58.33, 1985), Leann Warren (1:59.63, 1981) and Ranza Clark (2:01.7, 1984). Noble entered last weekend as the fastest collegian in '06 and second-fastest American. She was an All-American indoors in the 800 meters (second), and as a prep senior in '05 won U.S. junior and Pan-Am titles in the 800 meters.
